Bottle is fine but not the variable flow nipples

the nipples I bought along with the bottle (variable flow for slim neck) collapses for every sip my child takes from it. I end up opening the bottle to release the air everytime. I've been using luvlap for both my kids since they were born but only with this new nipple I'm having issues and it's all 4 of them I bought.
